Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Fitzgerald – the Government's response to the report on a case (details supplied) handled by Mr. Justice Peter Kelly and the action that has been taken; (2) Deputy Michael Moynihan – the lack of grant aid for the installation of green energy systems in domestic buildings; (3) Deputy Hogan – the circumstances surrounding the employment of a person (details supplied) by the South-Eastern Health Board; (4) Deputy Gormley – the recent tragic death of a cyclist at O'Connell Bridge and the need to drastically improve cycling facilities in our cities; (5) Deputy Haughey – the efforts to date of the Department of Foreign Affairs to help an Irish citizen detained in Phuket prison in Thailand; (6) Deputy Ring – the need to fund the renovation and development of Ardagh national school, Crossmolina, County Mayo; (7) Deputy Deasy – the situation at St. John's school for special needs in Dungarvan, County Waterford, with regard to the provision of specialised services for the children; (8) Deputy Brendan Smith – the measures that will be implemented to address the employment needs of County Cavan; (9) Deputy Rabbitte – the need to assign divisional status to Tallaght Garda station; (10) Deputy Boylan – the announcement by Teradyne Ireland Limited not to proceed with its investment in a serviced developed complex on the outskirts of Cavan town; (11) Deputy McGuinness – the need to establish a database of all health professionals containing up-to-date information and checked references and a system of ongoing cross-checks with other medical bodies-organisations in Europe and worldwide; (12) Deputy Stanton – the need to make funding available to enable the Cobh community centre committee to build a community centre in Cobh; (13) Deputy Flanagan – the need to ensure the continuation and maintenance of a rail freight and goods service within the State; (14) Deputy Breeda Moynihan-Cronin – the need to immediately provide an additional postal van for Dingle, County Kerry, so that many residents of the area can receive their post more speedily; and (15) Deputy Deenihan – recent media reports regarding attacks on gardaí in Tralee, County Kerry, and the need for the Minister to provide the necessary resources to support the Garda in Tralee.

The matters raised by Deputies Boylan, Rabbitte, Deenihan and Stanton have been selected for discussion.
