360 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve funding for the appointment of a principal social worker to the County Roscommon community services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26112/01]
The appointment of social workers is a matter for the Western Health Board, in the first instance, within the context of its priority developments. I have therefore referred this matter to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board and have requested her to reply directly to the Deputy.
