Vol. 543 No. 2

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Jack Wall

Ceist:

454 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the problems a person (details supplied) in County Kildare is encountering in trying to get to a training centre; if so, the plans his Department has to rectify the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26958/01]

The provision of transportation for trainees with a disability attending training centres is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the regional chief executive, Eastern Regional Health Authority, with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
