552 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of first time buyers grants paid by his Department in each of the past five years; the way in which these figures affected the number of housing starts in each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is assumed that the question refers to the number of house completions and new house grants paid in each of the past five years. This information is contained in my Department's annual housing statistics bulletin 2000, copies of which are available from the Oireachtas Library.
