729 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will examine an application by a person (details supplied) in County Dublin to have 20 years of overseas service in primary education recognised by the Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25874/01]
The incremental credit scheme for primary teachers was reviewed recently under the auspices of the Conciliation Council for Teachers. The terms of the agreement reached are outlined in Primary Circular 10/01 and a copy of this circu lar has been forwarded to the Deputy. With regard to the particular teacher referred to, I understand that incremental credit has been awarded to her in accordance with the terms of Primary Circular 10/01.
