231 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Sligo has not received an allotment of boglands; when a decision will be made in this case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27795/01]
The application of the person named to acquire a plot on the named estate is being processed by my Department. This plot is subject to other third party rights of turbary. The documents relating to the allotments on this estate are currently with the survey branch of my Department for checking and survey. When the survey process has been completed my Department will further contact the applicants. The legal formalities in relation to the vesting of plots to successful applicants will then commence.
