304 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the arrangements in place for clerical staff to transfer from one health board to another for family or domestic reasons without loss of service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27532/01]
There is no formal scheme in place for clerical staff to transfer from one health board to another. However, it is of course open to an officer to apply for employment in any other health board. Should an officer be successful in his-her application the health board can grant credit for previous experience.
