324 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to parliamentary Question No. 95 of 14 June 2001, he will ensure a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be called for an angiogram; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27796/01]
As I indicated to the Deputy in my response to him on 14 June 2001, my Department asked the chief executive officer of the North-Western Health Board, which has responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Sligo, to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to him directly.
I understand that a letter setting out the position was sent to the Deputy on behalf of the chief executive officer on 17 July 2001. The letter also advised the Deputy to contact the board if he required any further clarification in relation to this case.
