337 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be admitted to Cork University Hospital for a cataract operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27922/01]

Responsibility for the provision of services at Cork University Hospital rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
