Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of schools in Dublin South which have applications with his Department for building projects; the number which will be affected by the recent announcement of cuts in school building expenditure; and the length of time this will persist. I have made no announcements recently regarding a reduction in the capital allocation for the school building programme. On the specific query on school building projects in Dublin South, the information is not readily available in my Department. If the Deputy has any queries regarding specific projects I will be happy to obtain the information for her.
