223 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the amount of capital expenditure which was spent by his Department since July 1997 to 1 November 2001; the percentage of this which was spent in County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29281/01]
Capital expenditure by my Department in the period in question amounted to £28,211,000 – 35,820,580. The expenditure was in respect of the provision of office equipment, including computer hardware and software, to support the effective administration of the Department's services nationally. My Department does not record details of such expenditure on a county basis.
