Vol. 546 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

163 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is entitled to a refund of income tax. [31391/01]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes does not have enough information to determine if the taxpayer is due a refund of income tax. On 6 December 2001 the inspector sent a form P50 to the taxpayer to enable him to claim a refund. The taxpayer should return the completed P50, together with his P45, to the Inspector of Taxes, Cork PAYE, Government Offices, Sullivan's Quay, Cork. The inspector will then process the taxpayer's claim as quickly as possible.
