214 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the South-Eastern Health Board has appointed an occupational health physician; if so, the date of appointment; the support which is available for South-Eastern Health Board staff in relation to their work related health issues; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of additional staff, including occupational health physicians and other occupational support services in the south eastern region, rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
