O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the meetings, formal and informal, of European Union Councils relevant to his portfolio held since June 1997; the number of such meetings personally attended by him; and where not so attended, the person who led the Irish delegation at such council meetings. I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 375 of 26 June 2001, which sets out the position with regard to the Justice, Home Affairs and Civil Protection Councils which I, the Minister of State at my Department or another representative attended prior to that date.
