Ceist:177 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will arrange for a senior official from his Department to meet a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who has a proposal for passport security. [1628/02]

I am very happy to arrange for an officer from the Passport Office to contact the person in question, and to receive his proposals on passport security. This interest is appreciated. The Deputy may be assured that security is one of the highest priorities of the Passport Office and is subject to regular review.
