I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the terms of certain acts of the 1994 Congress of Universal Postal Union, signed at Seoul on 14th September, 1994, namely:
– the Fifth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union;
– the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union;
– the Universal Postal Convention and the Final Protocol thereto;
– the Postal Parcels Agreement and the Final Protocol thereto;
copies of which have been laid before Dail Éireann on 22nd November, 2001, be referred to the Select Committee on Public Enterprise and Transport, in accordance with paragraph (1)(a)(iii) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which shall, not later than 14th February, 2002, send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 79B, and Standing Order 79A(2) shall accordingly apply.
