347 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if, in the context of his recent announcement of the establishment of a district veterinary office and other agriculture office facilities in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, the offices will be in a new building or a refurbished building; the time-frame within which the offices will be open to the public; the number of civil servants to be employed in this location; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In September 2001 the Department submitted a detailed accommodation brief to the Office of Public Works outlining the requirements in respect of approximately 70 civil servants.

The Office of Public Works is actively working on the provision of accommodation in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim for the Department.
