Vol. 547 No. 1

Written Answers. - Flood Relief.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

384 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance the plans by the Office of Public Works for river drainage in County Cork (details supplied). [1055/02]

OPW resources are fully committed for the foreseeable future to maintaining completed drainage schemes and to advancing, to completion, the flood relief schemes currently in progress or in planning in County Cork and elsewhere. Consequently, there are no plans to carry out a flood relief scheme in the area in question in the immediate future.
