Ceist:413 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Finance the progress which has been made in acquiring a site for Gaelscoil Na Camóige, Cluain Dolcáin, Baile Átha Cliath 22; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1758/02]
Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
The Commissioners of Public Works act as agent on behalf of the Department of Education and Science in the acquisition of sites for new school facilities. To date only one available site has been identified in this area which might meet the requirements for this school facility. A technical assessment of this site is in progress. As part of this assessment, the Office of Public Works is currently engaged in a pre-planning consultation with the local authority regarding the site proposal. A full report will be made to the Department of Education and Science for consideration when this assessment phase is completed.
