629 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Offaly will be scheduled for a surgical procedure linked to cancer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2157/02]
Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Offaly rests with the Midland Health Board in the first instance. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
