Vol. 547 No. 1

Written Answers. - Superannuation Consolidation Scheme.

Tony Killeen

Ceist:

708 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason the provisions of article 113 of the Local Government (Superannuation Consolidation) Scheme, 1998, are being computed on a per annum rather than per hour basis for retired nurses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1103/02]

The application of the abatement of pension provisions of article 113 of the Local Government (Superannuation) (Consolidation) Scheme 1998, in relation to any employee is a matter for the authority by whom pension is paid to that employee. I have no function in the matter.
