774 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the Ferbane sewerage scheme at Ferbane, County Offaly; the funding which is available for this scheme; and when he anticipates the scheme will commence. [2150/02]
I approved contract documents for this scheme, which has been approved for funding under the rural towns and villages initiative at an estimated cost 6.7 million, in March 2001. The submission of a tender recommendation by Offaly County Council is awaited by my Department.
