Ceist:

888 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the number of jobs which were created with the assistance of Údarás na Gaeltachta in the Mayo, Galway and Donegal Gaeltachts for 2001; and the number of jobs which were lost in each county. [2081/02]

The information sought by the Deputy for the Gaeltacht areas of counties Mayo, Galway and Donegal is set out in the table. The table illustrates job approvals during 2001; new jobs filled in Údarás-assisted companies during the year; jobs lost in Údarás-assisted companies during the year; and the net increase or decrease for the year.
