Ceist:1036 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a naturalisation application by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 will be determined. [2814/02]

An application by the naturalised parent of the minor child referred to in the Deputy's question was received in November 2001. The processing time for such applications is approximately 12 months and it is, therefore, likely that a decision will be reached in the case towards the end of this year. I will advise both the applicant and the Deputy as soon as I have reached a decision in the case.
