120 Mrs. Owen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the reason the MIAB report on insurance for young drivers has not been completed and published; when she expects to receive this report; when the contents of the report will be made public; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Motor Insurance Advisory Board is in the process of completing its work. I expect to receive the final report within a matter of weeks. We will examine the board's recommendations as a matter of urgency when received with the intention of bringing proposals to Government and publishing the report.
