Ceist:140 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when a forest premium payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1565/02]

The outstanding pre-2002 forestry premiums will be paid to the person in question within the next four weeks. My Department was not in a position to do so before now because of delay in the submission by the applicant of the relevant documentation establishing his eligibility as a farmer under the scheme. The 2002 premium will be paid in March 2002.
