235 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children his views on correspondence (details supplied) and the refusal of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to assume its statutory responsibilities in relation to daily breaches of smoking regulations on services operated by Dublin Bus. [3448/02]
Investigations of non-compliance with smoking regulations are operational matters for the health boards. If the Deputy has information regarding breaches of the regulations on smoking of tobacco products on specific Dublin Bus services she should forward details to the environmental health section of the appropriate area health board for investigation.
