241 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve funding for the appointment of a full-time diabetic nurse specialist at the County Hospital, Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3454/02]

The provision of services at Roscommon County Hospital is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
