Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under Section 49 – acquisition of title by virtue of long possession – of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 which was lodged on 21 November 2001. Dealing No. D2001CK014834W refers.
I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications under Section 49, which require detailed examination of claims for registration as owners, can take some time to process. In the circumstances, it is not possible to estimate a completion date for the application concerned at this point. I can, however, inform the Deputy that the application is receiving attention and that relevant notice was served on 4 February 2002.
