Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children if he is in a position to make a decision on the application from an organisation (details supplied) for funding under the service audit allocation of his Department from the 2002 budget; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I will be in a position to make a decision shortly on the funding application from Headway Ireland as part of the allocation of moneys to address the under-resourcing of the voluntary sector service providers specified in the 2002 Letters of Determination to the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the other health boards.
