139 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps his Department is taking to have the many unimplemented general practitioner agreements of recent years put into place, as reported in a publication (details supplied) on 21 January 2002. [5062/02]
My Department is currently seeking to bring to a conclusion all issues raised by the Irish Medical Organisation relating to general practitioner agreements. Such issues include instances where there are differing interpretations of agreements, or where unforeseen administrative difficulties have arisen. Officials from my Department are in regular contact with the IMO in relation to these matters.
