52 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the categories under which reallocation of unused quota at the end of this quota year will be allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4949/02]
Unused quota at the end of the current year (flexi-milk) will be allocated among the three priority categories with 70% going to category I – under 180,000 litres, 20% to category II – 180,000 to 275,000 litres and 10% to category III – over 275,000 litres.
In view of the serious super levy situation in the current milk quota year, the amount of unused quota available for reallocation at the end of the year is likely to be limited.
