507 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if an application for registration can be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8173/02]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for first registration which was lodged on 20 December 1999. I am further informed that queries issued to the lodging solicitors on 15 August 2000. A reminder issued to the lodging solicitors on 16 May 2001 and subsequent reminder issued on 4 July 2001. To date no reply has been received. I am further informed that on receipt of a satisfactory response to these queries the matter will be progressed as soon as possible.
