628 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has taken a decision on establishing a tourism training college in Killarney, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7953/02]
There are no proposals at present to set up a tourism college in Killarney. A number of tourism courses are provided by the Institute of Technology, Tralee, and my Department has funded a new catering and tourism facility for students of the Institute at its new campus in Drumthacker. No proposals have been received from the Institute for an expansion of the current provision.
