106 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the position regarding a shellfish licence for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8262/02]

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. Fahey):

My Department recently issued a letter of licence offer to the individual concerned in respect of a bi-valve shellfish licence for his vessel and is awaiting his acceptance of conditions contained therein before the licence can issue.
