226 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will arrange payment in view of the medical evidence submitted in support of the appeal by persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in relation to the extensification scheme 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The two herdowners lodged their respective appeals on 1 February 2002 concerning 2000 extensification. Appeals require individual examination and are dealt with in the order in which they are received. The appeals will be examined as soon as possible and the outcome will be notified to the herdowners.
