Ceist:285 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Finance when a deed of transfer will be stamped and returned to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [8348/02]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
The Revenue Commissioners inform me that the case in question was submitted in October 2001 to the stamp duty office for adjudication as the transfer involved related parties. Revenue was unable to stamp the documentation as presented and returned it to the solicitor for rectification.
The documentation was received by Revenue in good order in late December 2001 and the deed was stamped and returned to the solicitor on 31 December 2001. The solicitor has confirmed the receipt of the deed and advised that it has been lodged with the Land Registry for registration.
