Vol. 550 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Board Allowances.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

355 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork was refused a mobility allowance by the health board. [8510/02]

The assessment of and entitlement to and payment of the mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
