53 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to the commitment he gave to the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Science on 4 December 2001, he will publish the list of 850 applications for major capital works; the state of planning which each application is at; and if the list will now be provided. I am finalising for Government the details and shape of the programme as it is likely to develop through the year. It is my intention to make available to Deputies a list of school building projects currently in construction as well as major building projects in architectural planning, as soon as possible, taking this year's Estimates, the budget allocation and PPPs into account.
I will also announce further details of projects that are ready to go to tender and others for which tenders have been received and where construction will commence in the coming months.
