Ceist:572 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive payment under the cull ewe compensation scheme. [8969/02]
Written Answers. - Compensation Payments.
According to information provided to my Department, the person was eligible only for headage payments in past years. As headage is now area based rather than animal based the person does not qualify for a payment from my Department for losses arising from the sheep de-stocking in 1998.
