Ceist:730 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will approve a home tutor, for health reasons, for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry. [8620/02]

No application for home tuition has been received in my Department in respect of the pupil in question.
My Department has been in contact with the school in relation to this matter and I understand that an application for home tuition is currently being prepared. Once the application is received and considered, my officials will be in further contact with the school authorities.
