My Department has no record of receiving a request for resource teacher support from the school referred to by the Deputy. The school, which is currently in receipt of the services of a learning support teacher on a shared basis has, however, submitted an application for a full-time learning support teacher.
The case made by the school in support of its request for a full-time learning support teacher has been noted. The needs of the school will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for distribution.
