929 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the primary schools in north Kildare who have requested remedial, resource, special needs or other specific teaching requirements or support; his plans to respond positively at an early date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Primary schools in Kildare have benefited significantly from a variety of special resources for children with special needs. The table below shows the extent of posts sanctioned within the various categories to date and the number of applications currently on hand.
