270 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide funding in 2002 for the commencement of work on the Desmond Ability Resource Complex, Newcastle West, County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10008/02]
The development of health related services, including day care, for people with disabilities and for older people is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards in the first instance. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer of the Mid-Western Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
