Ceist:390 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive the ewe cull compensation payment. [9924/02]

A payment, for losses arising in 2001 as a result of the 30% de-stocking in 1998, issued to the person named on 17 December 2001. According to my Department's records this cheque was cashed on 28 December 2001.
