283 Mr. Healy asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will establish, through the South-Eastern Health Board, an ambulance service based in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary; and if funds will be provided for this service. [11074/02]
The South-Eastern Health Board is responsible for the provision of ambulance services in its functional area, which includes Carrick-on-Suir. Therefore, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
