422 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when approval will be given to the tender report submitted by Cork City Council for the demolition of The Glen flats and the regeneration of The Glen. [10981/02]

My Department issued approval to Cork City Council to accept the tender for phase 1 of the regeneration of The Glen area of Cork City on 5 April. Construction work on phase 1 is expected to commence on site shortly.
