Written Answers. - Spring Traps Importation.
The importation of spring traps has been the subject of previous correspondence between the individual concerned and Dúchas officials. My reply to Question No. 348 of 26 February 2002 dealt with the importation of spring traps. I can confirm that the letter referred to by the Deputy has been examined by Dúchas. I am advised that the issues raised in the correspondence were technical in nature and required detailed examination to ensure that the case received the fullest possible consideration. I am also advised that a response has issued to the individual in question which, I hope, will meet with his satisfaction.
