Expenditure on archaeological investigation and conservation works to the Rock of Dunamaise since 1994 amounts to €431,000, comprising €227,000 under the operational programme for tourism and €204,000 under the national development plan. The total allocation earmarked for the project under the lifetime of the national development plan amounts to €1.9 million.
