Ceist:537 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason for the two year delay in registering land in the name of persons (details supplied) in County Kildare. [11200/02]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that an application for first registration based on possession was lodged on 17 July 2001 and that dealing number D2001KW007017J refers. I am further informed that requisitions on title were issued to the lodging solicitors on 26 November 2001 and that notices of application were served on the same date. I am also informed that no replies to the requisitions on title have been received to date and that an objection has been received as a result of notices served and this has been forwarded to the lodging solicitors for their comments. I understand that due to the complicated nature of these types of cases it is not possible to estimate a date of completion at this time.
